Hiring a campervan in Lofoten (Evenes)

Lofoten (Evenes) campervan rental. Lofoten (Evenes).

A city collection suits a compact campervan when you will leave urban streets for the first overnight stop the same day.

Count belted travel seats separately from berths and check how the bed is made up before you treat a campervan as ready for the group.

Compare included mileage, deposit, insurance excess, equipment and return time for the selected campervan. The partner website confirms availability and the conditions that apply to the booking.

Leave margin for the handover, shopping and a first overnight stop that actually accepts the vehicle’s size. A scenic name on a map is not a confirmed pitch.

Lofoten (Evenes) is a named collection point at Evenes, by Harstad/Narvik Airport, on the mainland. It is not a depot in Svolvær, Å or Reine.

Treat Evenes as the start line and book night one within a sensible distance, perhaps before you are deep in the islands.

A few things worth knowing

01
Treat Evenes as the start line and book night one within a sensible distance, perhaps before you are deep in the islands. You can move further west the next morning in daylight.
02
Check road status and your rental’s rules on narrow and unpaved sections. A photo of a red cabin is not a road assessment.
03
Fuel before the scenic stretch, drive on the right, and allow the bridges and the traffic of other campervans to set the pace. The landscape will not be improved by hurrying it.
