Tromsø Airport is at Langnes, on the island of Tromsøya, close to town and still an airport handover rather than a harbour one.

You start beside the runway. A short drive takes you into the centre or straight toward the bridges off the island. In winter that short drive can be the whole careful hour: ice, darkness and wind off the strait. Arctic daylight, or the lack of it, sets how far the keys should take you.

This is not a mainland depot like Evenes, and it is not the city desk downtown. Driving is on the right. Collecting at Langnes does not make every nearby hotel a handover point.
