Hiring a campervan in Modena

Modena campervan rental. Modena.

A city collection suits a compact campervan when you will leave urban streets for the first overnight stop the same day.

Count belted travel seats separately from berths and check how the bed is made up before you treat a campervan as ready for the group.

Compare included mileage, deposit, insurance excess, equipment and return time for the selected campervan. The partner website confirms availability and the conditions that apply to the booking.

Leave margin for the handover, shopping and a first overnight stop that actually accepts the vehicle’s size. A scenic name on a map is not a confirmed pitch.

Modena is an Emilian city of balsamic vinegar, a Romanesque cathedral and the Ghirlandina tower, with a centre wrapped in a ZTL. Maranello, a short drive south, is where the Ferrari museum sits; it is not a licence to drive the van like a sports car on the village roads, and it is not inside Modena’s old square.

The cathedral square is pedestrian territory.

A few things worth knowing

01
The cathedral square is pedestrian territory. Walk from outside the ZTL even if the last metres look wide.
02
Fog in the Po valley can reduce a simple evening hop to a crawl. If you land in that season, keep the first night close.
03
Maranello’s museum has visitor parking for cars and still rewards an early arrival. It is not a city-centre substitute, and it is not a test track for your motorhome.
