Plan your pickup and your first stop
Langwedel is a Weser village south of Bremen and just downstream of Verden, and the collection sits out among sheds and the river road, at a place like Auf dem Lintel, rather than in any market square.
Barges, a lock, and long straight dikes are the view. Verden's cathedral town is the nearby walk. The Aller meets the Weser just to the south. East, the land lifts toward the Lüneburg Heath.
This is not a city start with a monument to escape. It is already countryside. The A27 is the fast line if you want Bremen's region or Hanover's. The river road is the one you came for, and it floods on a different schedule from the motorway. Cyclists own the dike in summer; the van belongs on the paved through-road, not on the crest path.
After heavy rain, assume the pretty dike lane is the one that closes and the A27 is the one that does not. Set that backup before you are at a barrier.
Verden's centre is a park-and-walk. The river promenade is not improved by a motorhome in the photograph.
Heath overnights belong on signed pitches. The nature reserves are explicit about staying on the road, and a juniper clearing is not a loophole.
