Larnaca is the usual nearby airport. The drive inland is a daylight trip across that plain, with the old city as the destination you do not enter by van.

Set the navigation to a pitch outside the walls. A pin on Ledra Street will try to take you through a gate.
Ask the supplier whether the van may approach the buffer-zone crossings. Keep the day’s driving on the south side of the city if it may not.
