Aarhus curves around a bay on the east coast of Jutland, with a harbour edge, a university quarter and the open-air streets of Den Gamle By.

The centre is for walking. The camper routes lead north along Djursland, to beaches and the Mols hills, or south and north on the mainland motorway.

You are already on Jutland. There is no bridge to cross before the first beach hour, which makes this a kinder start than an island capital if the flight into Billund has been long.
